Middlesex have declared that former Zimbabwe captain David Houghton will be to replace Mark Ramprakash as their new batting coach.
Houghton, who held the exact same place at Somerset last season having formerly been head coach at Worcestershire and manager of cricket at Derbyshire, has signed a two-year contract and can begin work on January 1.
