Bradley Wright-Phillips scored his Major League Soccer-leading 21st goal of the season as the New York Red Bulls defeated Sporting Kansas City 2-1.
The former Charlton striker netted from the penalty spot in the 11th minute at Red Bull Arena after he was tripped by Matt Besler.
