Allrounder Ravi Bopara has signed a fresh one-year deal to prolong his stay at Essex.
Bopara, who had been recalled to the England squad for their one day series in Sri Lanka earlier this week, has spent his whole first class career together with the county and made his introduction 12 years ago.
