Australia captain Michael Clarke is working overtime as he strives to be fit for next month’s two-Test series against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates.
The 33-year old will fly out five days ahead of his teammates to step up an intensive rehabilitation programme as he seeks to recover from a hamstring injury – the latest in a chain of fitness issues – that saw him sent home early from a current tour of Zimbabwe.
