Former New Zealand captain Chris Cairns has appeared in court in London charged with perjury linked into a libel action he brought in great britain in 2012.
Cairns won £90,000 in damages after he sued Lalit Modi, creator of the Indian Premier League, over an accusation of matchfixing made on Twitter in January 2010.
