Fast bowling legend Wasim Akram has congratulated Pakistan after their “unbelievable” Test series triumph over Australia.


Pakistan beaten Australia by 356 runs in the 2nd Test in Abu Dhabi on Monday, taking the two-match series 2-0.

West Indies cricket dispute close to being concluded, according to reports

The crisis now engulfing West Indian cricket may be close to an ending, according to reports in the Caribbean.


The West Indies squad dramatically left their tour of India last month as a result of disputes over a contract arrangement signed by the West Indies Cricket Board as well as the players’ organization (WIPA).

Cricket World Cup: Paul Collingwood to rejoin Scotland coaching staff ahead of tournament

Former England all rounder Paul Collingwood has consented to come back to Scotland’s coaching staff for next year’s World Cup.


The 38-year old Durham captain, who’s England’s most capped one-day player and World Twenty20 winning captain, formerly worked with Scotland as combined-interim head coach when they booked their spot in the tournament from the beginning of the entire year.

James Anderson looking for World Cup confidence increase for England in Sri Lanka

James Anderson believes England can develop their self-confidence for next year’s World Cup having an optimistic performance in Sri Lanka later this month.


England started the year having a substantial one-day international series defeat in Australia before rallying from an opening defeat against the West Indies to clinch a 2-1 triumph.

Pakistan v Australia: Misbah equals Viv Richards" record for fastest Test century

Misbah-ul-Haq equalled the record for the quickest Test hundred on day four of the 2nd Test between Pakistan and Australia.


The Pakistan captain reached three figures from 56 balls in Abu Dhabi, matching the mark set by West Indies great Viv Richards against England in 1986.

Abandoned tour: India demand enormous damages from West Indies

India’s cricket board (BCCI) have written to their West Indies counterparts (WICB) demanding damages, following the team in the Caribbean left a tour of India last month.


A spokesman for the WICB affirmed they had received a letter in the BCCI “summarizing what the BCCI approximations as its losses in the early ending of the West Indies tour of India.”

James Anderson says England fielders are not made to apologise to bowlers

James Anderson has rejected Kevin Pietersen’s claims that England fielders were shouted at and made to apologise to bowlers if they dropped grabs.


Pietersen made the claims in his autobiography, KP, a novel where he also indicated Matt Prior helped orchestrate a bullying culture inside the team room.
