The crisis now engulfing West Indian cricket may be close to an ending, according to reports in the Caribbean.

The West Indies squad dramatically left their tour of India last month as a result of disputes over a contract arrangement signed by the West Indies Cricket Board as well as the players’ organization (WIPA).

Confusion as West Indies pull away from tour of India because of dispute over pay

Confusion encompasses the rest of the West Indies’ tour of India after reports it was cancelled – while the players were about the field fighting the fourth ODI.

With the players in the field, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced it was told by the West Indies team management they’d be withdrawing in the rest of the tour due to a pay dispute involving the West Indies board (WICB) and its players.
