Cricketers over Earth are paying tribute to Phillip Hughes by joining a #putoutyourbats effort on social networking web site Twitter.
The movement started spontaneously a day following the terrible passing of Australia Test batsman Hughes, who passed away in the age of only 25, two days after he was hit with a bouncer during a Sheffield Shield match.
