Cricket: Australian all-rounder Shane Watson hit on helmet by bouncer ahead of Boxing Day Test

Australian all-rounder Shane Watson has been hit on the helmet by a ball and was forced to cut short a nets session ahead of Australia’s Third Test against India on Boxing Day.


Watson was knocked to the ground during a training session in the Melbourne Cricket Ground when a short ball from James Pattinson hit him flush on the helmet.
